Three-section legs extend to a working height of 1.6 metres yet collapse to 50cm for travel, and the precision ball head allows fluid 360° pan and 90° tilt with a single locking knob. A quick-release Arca-Swiss style plate makes mounting and dismounting a gimbal a one-second affair, and the wide rubber feet plus optional spike inserts keep the tripod stable on grass, gravel or smooth floors.
